Milkow Company took part in the VI Dairy Olympics

The VI Dairy Olympics took place on 20-23 May 2014 in Turkey, Beldibi. The event was organized by the news agency «Dairy News», a leading news provider in the Russian dairy market.

Dairy Olympics program was divided into two parts - the scientific one with the key event II Summer Dairy Summit and the sports one with a series of competitions.

The program of the II Summer Dairy Summit consisted of three sections:

1. The world map. The situation in the global dairy market.

2. Map of Russia. Where should the milk, which we lack, go?

3. Cheese shop is closed.

Each of the sections had several speakers – the representatives of top management of the main operators in the Russian and world dairy market.

Milkow company was represented by: Olga Antonova, Deputy Commercial Director, and Olga Ivanova, sales manager.

2014 wasn’t the first time for Milkow experts to participate in this annual forum. The impressions of the Milkow team from the event were very positive: extremely interesting and highly topical business program of the Summit, a wonderful opportunity to communicate with other members of the Olympic Games - the leading players in the dairy market, and a good chance to simply rest in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Dairy Olympics is an unusual dairy seminar, - Olga Ivanova, Milkow sales manager, shares her impressions. - The participants were not only competing in heated debates concerning the development of dairy farming and the dairy industry of the Russian Federation during the conference, as well as on the sidelines. They also took part in real volleyball and soccer team competitions. The competitions were being held on the beach for two days. Of course the winners were the most adroit, daring and skillful!
